The practice of service design in the UK is an emerging design discipline that guides products or product services to attain success in their field of game by helping them to provide better services to the customers and earn a good return on their investment. This thesis is written with the idea of introducing the discipline of service design into the Indian economy because of the growing service industry in the country. A comparison studies of the Indian economy with a much established service economy of UK reveals the current position of India from both service and design perspectives.
She is a visual communication graduate from Loyola College in India. In 2006 she attained her Masters degree from Birmingham City University in Design Management with commendation. With 4 years of work experience she is currently working as National Marketing Manager for one of the brands in health sector.
