On approaching a performance, every professional or amateur pianist is confronted with the same problem: how to memorise music effectively so that it will withstand the pressures of the stage. Like most concert pianists, Chenyin Li was challenged when preparing for recitals to retain all the necessary information in a secure and reliable way.
