Decentralized decision making power creates an area in which a range of ideas supposed to be exchanged among individuals or institutions. It also provides a room in which people come together to pursue a certain view points and line of argument. In a nut shall, decentralization is a means where citizens individually or in group participate in all affairs that directly or indirectly affect them. This book is, therefore, intended to assess the implementation of the decentralization program, in particular emphasis on decentralized educational service delivery in Ethiopia. In this book, the basic factors that could slow down or advance the implementation of the program such as: responsibility, awareness, participation, capacity, decision making power of different stakeholders, and advantages of decentralization and difficulties encountered while implementing the program was assessed. The analysis is, therefore, may have considerable contribution in shading light on the relationship between decentralization and effective provision of service delivery, and it should serve as a base for policy makers or anyone else who may be interested in this field of study.
