Primary education is a solid foundation where the skills of the majority of the labor force and the knowledge of high intellectuals are built upon. At the back of these rationale countries are doing their best to keep the quality of primary education high. At the time when the issues of quality is at the lips of everybody in every world, this book is devoted to describe the nature of quality, practice that exist, challenges to quality and approaches to maintain quality at primary schools in Ethiopia. It is intended to provide valuable information s and feedbacks for researchers, policy makers, ministry of education, teachers, students and parents regarding the current situation of quality in primary education. It helps as stepping-stone for different bodies to facilitate the proper functioning of quality primary education that could lead to the improvement of various programs in primary schools. I am a lecturer at Ambo University, Department of Pedagogical Science and Educational Leadership. I obtained BEd Degree from Kotebe College of Teacher Education and MA Degree from Addis Ababa University. Before I came to Ambo, I taught in Jimma University. Currently, I live in Ambo with my wife Abyot and our son Ifnan.
