Performance Evaluation System is one of the main functions of Human Resource division of any banking organization of Bangladesh. Though performance evaluation serves as an important purpose in managing people and meeting organizational goals but many employees see the performance appraisal as a highly stressful process. This book explores the perception and attitudes of employees in an attempt to evaluate the level of satisfaction towards the existing performance appraisal system in selected banking organization of Bangladesh. For this study, researcher has administered a survey questionnaire among the employees of selected bank to know about their overall perception with the existing system of performance appraisal. Though overall perception found to be satisfactory but few employees have pointed out some issues which should be given proper attention.
Nusrat Jahan, an M.Phil candidate, specializes in Finance, International Business and Management. She has studied BBA, MBA in Bangladesh and Masters in International Business and Management at University of Westminster, UK. She has been serving as a Lecturer in School of Business at the Independent University, Bangladesh for nearly two years.
