In science teaching, the enrichment activities are commonly used by science educators and teachers. The use of enrichment activities assists students to build up interest and enthusiasm in science. In addition, they publicize popular appeal. Some of these enrichment activities include creative thinking skills.This approach which is novel excites students about a science lesson and provokes enthusiasm, and fascinates their attention.Word Juxtapoz puzzles foster a scientific way for students to think and come up with a solution related to some knowledge of science topics taught. They make the lesson fun and enjoyable so that students may have further interest in science lessons. It also offers intellectual challenge for students because sometime it is not easy to figure out the puzzle. Therefore, Word Juxtapoz puzzles promote students´ creative thinking skills and problem-solving skills which are related to their cognitive awareness.
