The Terrace of Joy is a book about two children, magic, magical conspirators, horror, and an admirable sacrifice with a royal touch...... What lurks inside......?The chamber was much like a solarium .the crystal chandeliers enhanced the show of the chamber and the little lamps emitted golden light which gave a sense of exhilaration.... The gateway led to a different world, the heaven, maybe.... as if glittering, golden, starlight, wrote in mid-air the words, The Terrace of Joy..... He sat there ,a sweaty and tense look forged on his wild face, the crooked smile was gone....it was over.....he was done.....he turned on tip-toe, and with a blinding flash of light ,turned into a falcon and flew up into the mackerel sky, through the huge open window and out of sight....The twins exchanged horrified looks; there was no air, in their lungs left to breathe..A mixture of suspense, magic, happiness and torture.....and the twins immersed in revealing the secret of the Queen of Dead Hearts....narrow escapes.... Hopefulness, a dream come true ...and a gleam of bright light.....

Sara Sartaj, the author of ´The Terrace of Joy´ is a student of senior secondary school , AMU. Born in Aligarh ,India on 5th March 1994 . Daughter of intellectuals, her milieu shaped her literary interests. Ist among 2 siblings, she completed her high school education from O.L.F, Aligarh.She aspires to be a doctor.
