Weed science discipline in Pakistan is at lower academic level as compared to allied disciplines of Plant pathology and plant protection. The literature related to weed science is not available regularly to the scientists in Pakistan. Access to journals commonly published in developed countries is very limited which makes the research spectrum narrow. No comprehensive work on the chimerical management of weeds in wheat crop in rainfed areas of Pakistan has been published so far. Since long a need was being felt for such a book which could provide quick and detailed information on management of weeds in such area to its researchers. This book embodies the excellent information for the graduate students, teachers, farmers, herbicide industry and agronomists for controlling weeds in wheat in rainfed areas of Khyber Pukhtunkhwa.
