The level of motor ability is of prime importance for learning of various activities and perfection of different skills. Motor ability is sometimes used to mean achievement in basic motor skills. The success and failure of the child are most often depends on his capabilities in applying his motor abilities to a particular task. According to barrow (1964), motor ability has been defined as "the present acquired and innate ability to perform motor skills of general and fundamental nature." This implies that motor ability is a combination of the innate and acquired. General motor ability like many other educational concept has explicit definition.
