An equitable and uniform spatial distribution of socio-economic facilities provide basic services to people and forwarding to a pattern of ordered growth of activities which ensure planned development of a particular region. Further access to basic needs and civic facilities is one of the important human rights. Socio-economic facilities play an important role in the development of regions and affect the maintenance and reinforcement of people´s activity. But these activities are not equitably distributed over a particular region. In this study, Narsingdi district has been selected as the study area. Upazilas of this study district are delineated as a region. In some regions, some facilities are concentrated more, while in the other, such facilities are dispersed. As a result, regional disparity is occurred. Some regions are more developed due to spatial concentration of those socio-economic facilities while others are comparatively less developed due to spatial dispersion of those facilities. Some factors are liable behind being these concentration or dispersion of the facilities among the regions.
