The aim of the work was to make a comparison of the Kyrgyz living on the territory of today´s Kyrgyzstan with the Kyrgyz that are living on territory of other states as original population. In this context, we have laid the question, what has influenced the culture at the most and cultural changes of Kyrgyz population on the territory of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, China and Afghanistan. Creation of the national state in Kyrgyzstan had significant influence to national awareness of the Kyrgyz. It was aroused here an interest in the history of own nation, there were presented historical constructs to the population about the ancientness and certain exclusivity of the Kyrgyz ethnic group, what many inhabitants adopted.
