Interlocking Concrete Block Pavement (ICBP) is a unique type of pavement. The interlocking system between blocks may provide excellence strength to the pavement. The 2-3 mm wide gaps between the blocks act as a bridge to transfer the load to the other blocks through the material inside it. That material is known as a Jointing Material. Until this day, river sand is a common material for filling the gaps. Therefore, this book provides a study about marine sand as an alternative material for jointing material. The ease to get and a massive stock of this material makes marine sand becomes an option for jointing material. The addition of Portland cement in certain percentages may also strengthen the interlocking between the sand grains itself and the ICBP in general. The information from this book is very useful and may help anyone, especially who lives in coastal area, who wants to use marine sand as a jointing material for their concrete block pavement.
