The Book tries to capture, with research based data, how the Mahars,an untouchable community of India got mass- converted to ´ Neo-Budhism´under the leadership of late Dr.B.R. Ambedkar in 1956.How far social change and mobility took place and witnessed there after?How Neo-Budhism of Ambedkar took a little deviance from the Budhism?Does conversion really helped the subject under this study?
