Over the last few years, many countries throughout the world have adopted continuous assessment to their educational system. The paradigm shift from the conventional assessment to continuous assessment requires teachers to have a well-developed knowledge and skills in this assessment. If teachers do not have a complete knowledge of continuous assessment, they may not implement it effectively for its prime goal. This book, therefore, investigates EFL teachers´ perception and implementation of continuous assessment. It also gives practical recommendations based on the findings of the study. Moreover, it reviews extensively the basic concepts and various devices of continuous assessment. The book helps EFL teachers to examine their perceptions and practices of continuous assessment. It also provides valuable materials for other subject teachers and the administrative bodies of schools and colleges.
