Over the last few years, many countries throughout the world have adopted continuous assessment to their educational system. The paradigm shift from the conventional assessment to continuous assessment requires teachers to have a well-developed knowledge and skills in this assessment. If teachers do not have a complete knowledge of continuous assessment, they may not implement it effectively for its prime goal. This book, therefore, investigates EFL teachers´ perception and implementation of continuous assessment. It also gives practical recommendations based on the findings of the study. Sileshi Aragaw has an MA in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from Addis Ababa University. He taught English for twelve years.
