Over the last decade Central America has received the highest number of U.S. criminal deportations of any region in the world. At the same time Central America has become one of the most violent regions in the world, with several nations citing homicide rates that are among the world´s highest. As the U.S. Government actively pursues stability in the region, it is in the interests of policymakers to reverse this dangerous trend before it threatens peace in the Americas.
Jonathan, his wife Missy, and daughter Emelia currently reside in Bowling Green, Ohio where he is employed by Affirm Global Development. Jonathan received his Bachelor´s degree from Bowling Green State University and Master´s Degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University. In 2008, he founded Champions in Action (www.championsinaction.org).
