Discipline has a direct relationship to academic standards and indiscipline hinders attainment of instructional and Educational objectives. Children who exhibit Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) present a challenge for parents, teachers and significant others.Emotional and Behaviour difficulties has been defined in this book. Different theories that explain causes of EBD have been analyzed. Variours strategies that teachers may use to effectively manage students´ behaviour in order to retain rather than exclude them from schools have been eexplored too. The author analyses the behaviour training packs for teachers in the UK and presents a critique of the training packs and relatd literature. The critical commentary aims at assisting teachers, parents and significant others in choosing the most appropriate strategies to manage children´s EBD. This book aims to help teachers, parents and significant others to manage EBD in children effectively. It provides a framework of ideas and possible suggestions for the efficient management of EBD in schools and every day life.
