Employee commitment is a crucial factor if organizations have to embrace high performance workplace. A competitive advantage is only achieved where employees hold high values for their organizations and hence the need to be a committed workforce. Organizations on the other hand need to see their employees as the most valued human resources hence providing a conducive workplace environment. Razia Mbaraka holds a Masters in Human Resource Development from Moi University, Eldoret, Kenya. Currently, she is an Administrative Officer at the same institution where she is also pursuing her Ph.D. studies in Strategic Management. She has worked as secretary for over fifteen years in Government ministries and Kenyan Public universities.
