The period witnesses the diplomatic endeavors and achievements of the reintegration of Eritrea and the Ogaden. Despite the fact that the restored government declared the post-liberation period as Addis Zemen (New Era), it has faced protracted and nagging oppositions from the various sections of the society that include peasants, the military, veteran patriots, students This book also embraces the popular revolutionary movements and the fall of the monarchy and the establishment of the Derg military government.
