In the modern agriculture, farm experts have given primary attention to BNF as source of nitrogen to the crops. The lion share of BNF is undoubtedly overtaken by symbiotic N fixation by legume-Rhizobium association as it contributes about 64% of the biologically fixed N in terrestrial agricultural systems. Countries such as Pakistan, Brazil, Australia, and India had advanced experience with regard to utilization of elite nitrogen fixing rhizobia as inoculants to their legume crop. In most situations, rhizobial inoculation often come up with 50% economic yield increment and tremendous grain and forage quality i.e. protein enriched products. This book has tried to show the presence of native and effective nitrogen fixing rhizobia for faba bean in tropis, Ethiopa. The author advises that utilizing these effective Rhizobium leguminosarum bv. Viciae in farm areas where nitrogen depletion is severe as vital.
