Contaminating concrete structures with chlorides causes severe damages to the reinforcing steel bars. The electrochemical chloride extraction (ECE) was proved during 1970´s as a repair technique for extracting chlorides from reinforced concrete structures. If inadequate treatment plan is used in ECE treatment; a severe drawbacks can be faced. These drawbacks can be for instance; embrittlement of the reinforcing bars which affect the bearing capacity of structure, or prolonging the treatment which icrease the cost of the treatment. This book includes previews on some of previous relating works with obtained results. The treating procedure were different from work to work, and thereby the results were different as well. This motivated me to study a different parameters in ECE treatment in this work to conclude a sufficient treatment procedure regarding the applied current density and period of the treatment in order to assist the further relating treatments with a proper preplanning that may saves time and efforts without resulting significan drawbacks to the structure.
