It also presents the roles of teachers in improving quality of education. In this regard, this book explores the perception and commitment of teachers to the issues of quality of education. Increasing the commitment of teachers is an important first step in the process of school reform. The current shift in emphasis from access to quality and the introduction of several reforms in the education system should also take into consideration the perception and commitment of teachers towards improving quality of education so that cumulative effort of stakeholders will gear towards common goals i.e, improving quality.
