Aus den Serie Still here von Lydia Goldblatt spricht die Liebe. Die Liebe der fotografierenden Tochter zu den alternden Eltern. Die Liebe der Eltern, die sich der eigenen Verletzlichkeit bewusst, dennoch vertrauensvoll ihrem zärtlichen Blick ausliefern. Wedding Ring zeigt nur Beine und Hand der nackt in der Badewanne stehenden Mutter. Der silberne Reif scheint schwer zu wiegen, er bestimmt die Bildkomposition. Hinterland widmet sich dem dahinschwindenden Vater, das Bild lotet den Grenzbereich zwischen der physischen Existenz und der Metaphysik aus.
