The main purpose of this attempt to approach the topic of culture and civilization has been that of providing a minimum, basic theoretical framework meant to enable a proper understanding and, hopefully, an easier and smoother access to the study of cultures and civilizations in general, or as separate entities, in particular. As the sub-title mentions, the book is an awareness raising approach meant to offer an understanding tool-kit to anyone interested to go deeper into the study of a culture and civilization, without necessarily being a specialist in the field.
