Egypt, the 9th world aquaculture producer is also the 1st Mediterranean Sea, Arab and African aquaculture producer but its marine aquaculture still in the beginning. The development aquaculture production in Egypt has increased to 986820 tons representing 72.44 % of the total production in 2011. Egypt aquaculture production divided to 61.88% tilapia, 11.55% mullets, 20.64% carps, 1.80% Sea bass, 1.43% Sea bream and 1.23% meager. Although Egypt is the main producer of mullets (Mugilidae spp) in the Mediterranean, Several challenges facing Egypt marine aquaculture development to be sustainable industry or just begin to be an industry, the lack of fry and fingerlings with good quality considered the most important declining factor. Marine hatcheries around the world become seed factories but Egypt marine hatcheries still less developed, this is not only because of facilities and equipments shortage and misplaced but also due to less developed protocols and management under Egypt conditions. Thus the present work aimed to study some factors affecting European seabass larvae production from marine hatcheries as small step on the way of marine aquaculture development.
