In sixteen-year-old Morris´ world, antisocial behaviour isn´t just a sign of youth culture gone wrong. It´s the mark of a changeling - a troll swapped at birth for a human child. Like most people in society, Morris holds trolls in total contempt, and he´s not best pleased when his school decides to take him and his class on a field trip to The Dregs - the vast and strictly guarded shanty town where changelings are sent if they are discovered.
