Companies are currently dealing with increasingly demanding stakeholders. Firms have to engage in good corporate practices for which they must make information available with regards to the way the business is developed. Socially responsible firms comply on all basic aspects and elements of Corporate Social Responsibility practices. That is, engaging in activities that go beyond financial and profitable results. One of the principal agents we discuss is the significance of transparency for the communication of Corporate Social Responsibility.

Daisy M. Polanco Jiménez obtained her Bachelor´s of Law in 2010 from the Iberoamerican University of Santo Domingo (UNIBE), Dominican Republic. She obtained her Master´s Degree in Corporate Communication and Economics, with a Minor in Corporate Social Responsibility in 2016, from the University of Lugano (USI), Switzerland.
