Melasma is a common pigmentary disorder cause´s tremendous emotional and psychosocial distress and it plays a major role in affecting the quality of life. This typical disease mostly affects women of reproductive age from all racial groups but has a predilection for darker skin types. The treatment of Melasma is a challenge to any dermatologist because of its refractory and recurrent nature. The present book describes the efficacy of three cream based topical treatment regimens for treatment of Melasma for Indian patients. This book will work as guideline for the practicing Dermatologists, Medical Professionals and the patients affected with Melasma for adoption of this short term and long term, cost effective and easy topical treatment therapies.
