The general objective of this book is to examine the effect of Uganda´s foreign policy and its role in the Eastern DRC peace building process. Based on the above general objective, specific research objectives are developed as highlighted below; 1. To examine Uganda´s foreign policy from 1998-2003. 2. Tony Ssembatya, is an Ugandan born resident in Germany. He is currently following his Doctoral Studies in Global Peace and Security at the Leipzig University.
