Building Information Modeling (BIM) is suitable not only for new construction projects but it is desirable and applicable at case of building renovations as well. Therefore one of the main objectives of this book is to investigate a method how to apply BIM in general building recoveries focusing on the Planning and Design phases of these restoration activities. By the usage of this method a further specialized topic is also analysed, namely how to implement BIM especially at the case of panel buildings´ rehabilitation using these structures´ high architectural similarities. At the end of the book the reader can get an appropriate overview about the application of BIM in general renovation projects meantime can discover a modern way of panel buildings´ rehabilitation. The presented research is highly useable for professionals who are interested in the usage of BIM in building restoration and for companies who are specialized on panel buildings´ rehabilitations and desiring to improve their working efficiency.

Zsuzsa Besenyöi (born in Hungary, 1989) obtained her B.Sc. Degree in Civil Engineering at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics in 2012. After working as a facility manager for a year she started her master studies at the HTW Berlin where she has been awarded with the title of M.Sc. in Construction and Real Estate Management in 2015.
