Knightly virtues have been exemplified by knights in various forms in both Eastern and Western Hemispheres throughout the ages, yet the commonalities have not been explored in terms of their application to business practice in the new millennium. This book will re-examine the history of the many traditions of knighthood, and through reflection upon those virtues, present a new model (MAP - Mastery Altruism and Passion) for application of these virtues to the practice of business in the modern age.
Professor Phillip Pardo is Chair of Accounting at Ritsumeikan University (APU) in Japan. Professor Nadira Pardo works at California Southern University USA. The other two co-authors are business students at APU and all have an interest in developing knightly virtues in business.
