Recently, it is crystal clear to the entire world that we cannot overlook the curative importance of medicinal plants, their manifestations were the solace for the adverse effects observed from many synthetically produced medicines. It is hard to believe that the enormous medicinal curative benefits of turmeric plant were yet to be well known to the entire world like the case of ginger, moringa and the likes. Among our aims and objectives for conducting this research was to investigate the curative potentials of turmeric plant on the effect of Ultraviolet radiation in the Blood. Over the years, ultraviolet radiation has been known for its effects on various systems in the body. Suntan, sunburn, cancerous activities and the likes were the effects observed from the exposure to ultraviolet radiation.
