EMBATTLED GRADUATE: I narrate the story of Nigerian graduates and their challenges of career pursuit, the heart touching story of jobless graduates plying different corners of the urban cities of the country for white collar jobs. I also tell of their endurance, resilience, challenges and hardships amidst extortion and dubious acts of recruitment agencies. The story also narrates how over 6 million unemployed and jobless graduates were forced to work as rural farmers, street hawkers or okada riders at every corner of the country to grease their mouth. I am not only a victim but also as a narrator, a participant and yet a resilient person as such a write up needs to be read by youths and educators not only to understand the true story of the graduates denied of their human right, right to work, their pains and sufferings but also to feel their emotions and situations.
