Martina Schmidhuber, Dr.phil.fac. theol., studierte Philosophie an der Katholisch-Theologischen Fakultät der Universität Salzburg, wo sie sich auch promovierte und als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin tätig war. Seit 2013 ist sie am Institut für Geschichte und Ethik der Medizin und im Emerging Fields Projekt "Menschenrechte in der Medizin" an der Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg tätig. Lutz Bergemann, Dr. phil. 2010 Habilitation im Fach Philosophie an der Westälischen Wilhelms- Universität Münster. Seit 2011 Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter an der Professur für Ethik in der Medizin am Institut für Geschichte und Ethik in der Medizin der Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen- Nürnberg. Andreas Frewer, Prof. Dr. med., M.A., European Master in Bioethics, Professuren in Hannover und Frankfurt, seit 2007 am Institut für Geschichte und Ethik der Medizin der Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. Leiter der Geschäftsstelle des Klinischen Ethikkomitees.
