How to motivate engineers working in a tough, demanding and full of trouble industry such as the construction one? Is it all about salaries and promotion, or there are other factors and methods for motivation? A question that is a subject of investigation for centuries, and with a tricky different answers that are useful for specific country or mentality. Furthermore, construction industry in developing countries still faces problems due to the lack of detailed and concrete regulation regarding the designing and building methods and technologies. This book offers a deep investigation on the factors affecting the motivation of engineers in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and Montenegro. Few undiscovered ever before factors were found and analyzed in this study, with a new developed model that defines a motivation method for different demographic profiles of engineers.
El Sayed, Ahmed
Ahmed El Sayed is an Assistant Professor at International Burch University, with PhD degree in Construction Management, and Master degree in Civil and Hydro Engineering. He participated in the engineering design of Highways in Bosnia, and in Water Engineering projects in B&H and region. The "golden student" award winner was born in Kuwait, in 1987.
