This book is the result of the parametric study on Analysis and Design of Permanently Anchored Secant Pile Wall for Earthquake Loading.The recent period of sustained economic growth has led to an increase in use of underground space.With deep excavations,design issues are involved.This publication highlights how secant pile walls are formed and reinforced. It will be of interest to civil engineers,urban authorities,contractors and constructors. Consideration of soil parameters, deformation, interaction of soil and retaining configuration are highlighted.The relevance of the secant pile methodology is emphasized in preventing the soil and ground water ingress.Aspects related to nonlinear,dynamic and complicated system are mentioned.
