Today´s goal of every interdisciplinary medical center is to provide well-timed prevention of therapeutic intervention and proper management of disease patients in daily clinical practice. This book "The role of urinary peptide markers in severe renal diseases" gives interesting workflow, high-throughput screening of the urine proteome by different proteomic platforms and practical application of the non-invasive urinary biomarkers in diagnosis and prognosis of renal disease patients. Improvement in the accuracy of the early risk patient stratification will help in better and more cost-effective medical care of the ill patients. In this context, clinical proteomics especially human urine proteome analysis could be one step forward in providing appropriate patient healthcare.

Dr. Martin Pejchinovski is a young successful scientist with expertise in clinical proteomics received at Mosaiques Diagnostics GmbH from Hannover, Germany. He has obtained his PhD from Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Germany and his MSc and BSc degrees from the state University "Ss. Cyril and Methodius", Skopje, Macedonia.
