Diesem Band liegt eine etwa 1.300 Fotos umfassende Porträt-Sammlung zugrunde. Er möchte, ein im Genre der Pfarrerbücher neuer Versuch, in Ergänzung der Biogramme Menschen ein Gesicht geben und damit eine anschauliche Vorstellung von ihnen vermitteln.
