Do we know what home is, what does this term mean for modern nomads and cosmopolitans? Where and what exactly is home?
Haven´t we all overlooked or misinterpreted signs before? Are we able to let ourselves go during hectic times, do we interpret faces correctly? Presumably, even today we still smile about certain encounters during our travels,
somewhere in the world, or we are still dealing with them. Not only is travveling educating, but each travel also shapes our character, opens up our view for other people, cultures and their very unique challenges.
Streams of thoughts describes those very moments - sometimes longer, sometimes only for a short time - that are forcing us to think and letting us backpedal. It is about contemplative moments and situations
that we all know.

A collection of essays, some of them are socio-critical, mostly entertaining and informative, originating from the countless travells of the author and shaped by the authors´ very own personal points of view and and visions of the world.

The third revised edition of the German version is at the same time the first bilingual one, the book includes the German as well as the English version, which was translated from German by Elisa Carow.

Werner, Heinz
Heinz Werner is founder of an internationally operating trading company that he directed for decades. For a long time, he lived abroad, outside of Germany, and is still travelling the entire world. He is still actively working in national and international committees of trade and economic policy and often gives lectures at universities and colleges in Germany as well as in countries outside of Germany. He was a member of the ITC, the International Trade Committee of EuroCommerce, vice president of the BGA, the board of trustees of wholesale and foreign trade in Berlin, Germany and for many years he was very active in leading committees of world trade in Brussels, Belgium. Heinz Werner is author of a reference book about foreign trade called "Basiswissen Außenhandel - Global Sourcing" (Basic Knowledge Foreign Trade - Global Sourcing), of a book about Europe named "Mein Europa - Quo vadis" (My Europe-Quo vadis) and of a compact book about national anthems and the foot

Carow, Elisa
Born and raised in Sofia, Bulgaria, the translator moved to Berlin, Germany in 1991 and is considered a native in German. After her A-level exams she studied European Management Assistant at the Internationale Wirtschaftsakademie in Berlin. She has a degree from the IHK (German CCI) and from the London CCI as Foreign Languages Coresspondant for English. The translator, Elisa Carow has worked as a freelance translator for minor projects as well as for the ZALF Muencheberg and has already translated a book from English to German. She is also the publisher of this book as she owns a publishing house in the East of Germany. "Stream of thoughts" is the first book she has translated from German to English.
