Known for work relating to the intersection of culture and nature, this book is a departure for the artist Lukas Felzmann who adds appropriation to his repertoire. Apophenia is a weaving together of two archives. One is an archive of postcards sent to the father of the artist, the other is the artists archive of unpublished photographs. The juxtaposition results in a surprising sequence of vertical images traversing locations from Europe to the United States and all the way to India.
