The collection Narcissist consists of three short stories with the thematic impulse of self-love. However, the concept of self-involvement functions at different levels in the enigmatic and darkest corner of human Psyche. The stories attempt to absorb such emotions. The first story "The Child" is a translation of the Malayalam short story "Kunju" by P Padmarajan, a renowned Indian author, screenwriter and scriptwriter who is known for his classic Films, Short stories and Novels.
