The aim of this work is to present the origin and character of the Arabian horses by the Arabic-Islamic sources in the Middle Ages. I present the lexicoghraphy of the horse in detail through the descriptions of Abí Ubayda, al-Asmai, Ibn Qutayba, Ibn Sída and others. The authors present the ordinary life in the desert according to the horses by the poems, and by the hadithes: Since revelations were coming to the Prophet Muhammad mentioned the horses also, whereby good care of horses became religious obligation for believers of Islam. After Revelation countless hadithes were born in order to reply those questions which the sanctuary script (al-Quran) did not reply. The Quran mentioned horses only in plural together with other animals, never praises horses to itselves, since it should be a kind of idol worship in contrast with the meat of the Quran. The Quran does not include details of horse care, but directs the believers´ attention to the problems concerning to religion: even before some believers go too far in his love for a horse.
