This book offers a step-by-step model in understanding the nature of economic partnerships in economic blocs. Readers will be able to highlight (1) The relationship between the EU and the GCC in a non-biased manner, with the EU and GCC seen as equal regional blocs. (2) The relationship between international economic partnerships and economic development. (3) The relationship between regional integration, international economic partnerships and trade. Globalization levels in the EU and the GCC, and their effect on the economic partnership. By doing so, we link between economics and politics to understand the relationship between the EU and the GCC. We build on strong theoretical backgrounds and merge between qualitative research methods and an analysis of quantitative trade gravity models.
