This Book attempts to analyze the performance of various selected Indian banks for the last five years. Though many studies were conducted in the past to know the performance, but only few studies were conducted by using CAMEL approach and the shareholders´ value addition is studied using Economic Value Added (EVA). This study was done using CAMEL model and EVA analysis to the study of banking performance and stock holders wealth of top five private and public sector banks in India. Financials and other data regarding the bank financials are based on the yearly annual reports. This study also suggests that the bank should try formulating their future course.
