The subtitle of the work "Reimaging the Park-Monument to the Bulgarian-Soviet Friendship in Varna, Bulgaria" suggests the delicate character of the work. Its aim is to defend the thesis that the socialist monument is an active generator of re-identification processes that liberate from the dominant ideological hegemony. Throughout the working process, the initial intention for a radical material intervention evolved to a deeper understanding, that accepts and visualises as potential the current poor condition of the monument.
