Disasters represent a persistent threat to earth. They can happen at any time, any place, and cause various levels of destruction. Therefore, it is of highest importance to make constructive strategies in order to increase emergency preparedness. This work provides an analysis of main emergency responders on a national level for the two selected countries: 1) Serbia as well as 2) Bosnia and Herzegovina.
