Land can not be increased as per the demand, this leads to design of taller buildings so that the floor area can be increased and the land use can be minimized. A taller building requires even more stringent and safer norms for design to avoid any catastrophe. To analyze and design such type of structure, we should concern about the methods of the consideration.National codes should lead a designer, to conclude the reliable methods. Seismic code is one of them. The code is reviewed after any major incident and for any new structures it will come under consideration. In the past earthquakes the satisfactory design analysis has been by Equivalent Static Method. However, the method does not satisfy all the requirements of tall buildings. The Response Spectrum analysis is from the actual earthquake records and has been developed in the single diagram to be much easier to handle than other methods in practice. However, the effects of infill walls either masonry or reinforced are not really valued ,as they are, by designers or building contractors. In recent different earthquake magnitudes in Iran it is seen that the infill walls have main catastrophic fatality than the other causes.
