The book described the outcome of a hybridization between African mudfish, Clarias anguillaris and African giant catfish, Heterobranchus bidorsalis without sacrificing (killing) of the male fish for milt (semen) collection under semi-arid zone condition. The growth performance, heterosis for both growth and survival at fingerlings and table size stages, protein profile via SDS-electrophoresis and the haematological profiles of both hybrids and the pure line progenies were described.

Diyaware, Mohammed Yakubu
M. Y. Diyaware was born in Ngoshe, Gwoza LG to Yakubu Diyaware family on 30/12/1968. He attended and completed Ngoshe A Primary Sch. (1979), G.S.S. Gwoza (1984,) Fed.
