An inside look at the law from the perspective of a start-up company.The letter of the law is not always what is done in practice. This notion is often referred to as the "law and society perspective." Legal doctrine is not a closed system as there are of course other external influences at play. Beyond the law, people are also influenced by other factors such as social roles, morals, religion and culture.

Samoylov, Vladimir
Vladimir´s areas of research include commercial law, intellectual property law and digital law. He is especially interested in the interface between intellectual property law and innovation. Outside of his research, Vladimir is an executive board member of the Asian Pacific Copyright Association and a practising barrister and solicitor.
