I have written this book during my three years of postgraduate medical education in pathology which got completed in 2016. This book is based on my M.D dissertation which deals with one of the most encountered gynecological problems in women. This was only possible under the guidance of my respected teachers and co-authors like Dr. Roobina Khan, Prof Veena Maheshwari and Prof Seema Hakim. I have shared my experience as a pathologist in diagnosing various etiologies of abnormal uterine bleeding in women as per latest FIGO PALM-COEIN classification and its impact on their quality of life. Moreover, in developing countries like India, a large percentage of women is reluctant to seek medical advice and treatment. Hence this book intends to create awareness among womenfolk for seeking health care services so as to lead a healthy and productive life. Through this platform, I have tried to keep you all abreast with the latest techniques like immunohistochemistry in the diagnosis of various neoplastic and non-neoplastic diseases of the endometrium. Just give a read and get acquainted with the latest techniques in modern medicine for early diagnosis and proper management of the patients.
