Considering the rigour of Academic and physical activities in the university among undergraduate students, it is very germane to review their cardiovascular status. This is the rationale for this book as mortality is being recorded during stressful activities on our campuses. Introducing measures of screening for their cardiovascular status will improve on the students lifestyle while on campus and will further enhance their management of health status , hence the need for this book.

The author is a public health physician and a medical sociologist in the OBAFEMI AWOLOWO University Medical and Health services . He is a medical scholar who has various publications on health behaviours and illnesses among university students. Also, he has researched on HIV/AIDS treatment adherence and socio-cultural factors affecting it.
